Biography / Background

I have worked as a lecturer and teacher educator for twenty years in the Faculty of English at Hanoi National University of Education where I teach courses on Language Skill Development, ICT in ELT and ELT methodology, Professional Development for English Teachers, and Research Methodology for English Teachers. My research and publications are in the areas of second/foreign language acquisition and interaction, English teacher education, ICT in language teaching, spoken language features and conversational interaction within EFL classrooms and contexts.

I hold my PhD at Monash University, Australia. ​My PhD topic concerned the sequence organization in discussions among pre-service language teachers in Vietnam from conversational analysis perspectives.
