Biography / Background

I have worked as a lecturer and teacher educator for ten years in the Faculty of English at Hanoi National University of Education where I teach courses on Language Skill Development, Discourse Analysis, ICT in ELT and Second Language Research Methodology. My research and publications are in the areas of second/foreign language acquisition and interaction, ICT in language teaching, spoken language features and conversational interaction within EFL classrooms and contexts.

I hold my PhD at Monash University, Australia. My PhD topic concerned the sequence organization in discussions among pre-service language teachers in Vietnam from conversational analysis perspectives.
